Hi, I’m Annabel

I started drawing elephants when I visited Thailand. I went on a trek through the jungle and was inspired by these gentle giants. Two baby elephants accompanied us, I was fascinated by the tender interactions between Mother and bay elephants and the bond of the herd. I am fascinated by animals, I love the excitement of capturing their characters and movement. I have gradually expanded my range of cards and found the elephants are ideal for celebrating a wide variety of occasions. I am constantly adding more designs and I enjoy exploring many different subject matters.

I studied Public Art at Roehampton University. I then attended part time illustration courses at Chelsea school of Art and had several children's books published by Random Century Publishers. My greeting cards have been published by companies such as Woodmansterne and Claire Maddicott Publications. I printed my own range of cards and supply many local gift shops.
